Griffin randomly carried this bear all morning - even to the wellness center. He also decorated his face on the way to dropping off the big kids. That would be my eyeliner on his cheeks.

October Fun

We started the weekend off with hanging out with the Waterers and crew Friday night. Mary Blake camped out with Tombigbee with the Heitgers. Then JJ, Pops, and Andy came to visit Saturday.

Elvis Presley's Birthplace

The Mooreville 4th and 5th grade Discovery Class took a field trip Wednesday. I met up with them at Veterans Park and then on to Elvis Presley's Birthplace.

How cool are these teepees? Mary Blake and some of the Sander's girls started to built these teepees Columbus Day. Mary Blake went outside at 10:00 am, came inside to grab a picnic lunch, and I didn't see her until I made her come in at 5:00 pm for supper. I wouldn't want to leave either. They have worked on these teepees everyday this week.

Wren's stats/10 months

I totally gave up on keeping a baby book. And it is not just because Wren is the 4th child. I gave up on that venture with Collins. I am just not a baby book type. So, I scanned in the wt/ht stickers that had piled up in the bottom of his diaper bag! We went back to the dr. today - and he is 24#8ounces. He also turned ten months last week! WHOA. slow down, life. please. It really does fly by. He is still crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything. Last week he spent his first full day at Mother's Day out. They said he did great. Griffin also stayed after preschool and even took a nap on a mat!

Mary Blake loves to write songs. She has a notebook full of them. This is one that has a catchy tune. I find myself humming it sometimes. I thought it would be fun to have one of her songs in my blog book.  I love her spelling.
