Meet Snoopy.....

and Nibbles

Nibbles endures a lot of "loving" from Griffin

This is Mary Blake at a birthday party with school friends 2 weeks ago.

Tired boy fell asleep reading! Maybe I should send this to his teacher to show his dedication!

9 {1/2} months

Dear Wren, Can you please stay 9 months forever? You are so calm and content. I don't have to say no to you yet, no discipline, no correction. You are crawling and pulling up everywhere! I love the way I could hold you all day without you wiggling to get down. You have an infectious smile and a pillsbury dough boy kind of laugh. I love the way you play with my hair when you are eating. You are happy even with 3 teeth coming in and an ear infection. Now, don't get me wrong, you have your moments....getting mad at a toy that won't fit in your mouth, still waking up in the night, and fighting sleep sometimes....but those times are rare. Sweet "Wren Wren" (as griff would say), we love you!

sweet campbell cooper

Friday night we enjoyed supper with the Coopers and the Hollands. Here is a picture of Mary Blake and Griffin with 3 week old Campbell!

{labor day weekend}

Last weekend we had a fun weekend in Batesville. I told my mama that I am taking notes on how to be a good granma because she has really got it down. Not only does she help take care of all of the littles, but she also still takes care of the big kiddos (like me, lis, rebekah, daniel, and our crew). Seriously, I have to hide my dirty clothes from her to keep her from washing for me. She is quite stubborn....I sure don't know anyone like that :)
Wren loving on PawPaw. He liked touching his moustache.

{first day of preschool}

Griffin started 2year old preschool this week! Tuesday morning was unusually cool, so Griffin wore his coat.  I found out later that he never took it off - the whole time.  He even stayed in it at home after lunch and a potty break. I wrestled it off of him at nap time. When he woke up, the first thing he said was, "coat on, mama". Quirky little guy. So, it is hard to get anything out of a two year old....His teacher was kind enough to send me a detailed email to tell me about everything he did his first day.  I told her that Mary Blake and Collins were just as curious to know how he did, so Jennifer emailed them telling them how his first day went. We are blessed to have such a sweet teacher!

Open house/passyx2/socks

I found Griffin after his nap like this- he thought he was quite funny

Griff tried very hard to put Brad's socks on by himself. I finally helped him.

he was quite proud of his look. check out that figure!

This is Griffin's new/first preschool teacher, Mrs. Jennifer. Because we missed open house Monday night (i forgot - terrible, i know) we got our own private open house.  So sweet of Ms. Jennifer to meet us at Calvary.  I don't think Griffin will have any problems adjusting to preschool. He had so much fun. Mary Blake and Collins were so pumped about going to meet Griff's teacher and seeing his classroom. MB was especially worried that Griff would get lost going to class, I had to promise her I would make sure he got there!
