Spring Break 2013

We packed it in this spring break. We started it out with a 2 night trip to Birmingham with the Kirks. We shopped, ate, played, ate, played, etc..... The kids ran back and forth between the hotel rooms. They loved it. We played outside, swam inside, went to two parks, ate at Johnny Rockets, New York Pizza, Edgewood Creamery ice cream, had a picnic, and finished off with Full moon barbecue. Somehow, we all slept pretty well.... After Birmingham we had a short morning of wellness center work, then headed to Batesville. The kids got to play with cousins, and I got an early birthday supper of sushi with my sisters and Ashley, my sister-in-law. We stayed and played hard Thursday. Collins got to go home with Isaac and Mary Blake headed back with us to get ready for her awesome camp night with the Sanders' girls. They cooked smores at night and made their own scrambled eggs in the morning over their (fire-pit) fire! Friday, Collins went to his buddy, Daniel's house, and Mary Blake went hear a Uganda children's choir with Madeline, her friend. Saturday, we played outside alllllll day!!! Finished off the week with lunch at mc allisters where we met up with our dear friends, the waterers. Making memories.....

here's to all of those moments in between the photos-the ones you wish you had a picture of to keep those sweet memories alive forever..... wren huggin banks (lis' dog) today and listening to his heart with the dr set....me and my two sisters sitting at my mama's kitchen table putting on way more make up than we normally do to go absolutely nowhere.... just to compare mascara, powder, eye shadow, and such. pretty much an essential in my life... (I copy everything my sisters do), my littles running up to me just to give me kisses, my big kids treating each other more like best friends than siblings, all 6 of us piling in one bed before bed, all 6 of us praying together...... sometimes the moments in between are the best

oh, my griffin. keeps me on my toes. he is so quirky. notice we still have the hat... have had it on since christmas..... He is lover of nutella, and blocks and cars. And is growing way too fast for me!
