There are so many things as a parent that I am just not ready for. One of them is my baby girl becoming a big girl. I thought I was really excited about her getting her ears pierced. When we got to Wal-mart, I pulled out dog-dog (she had put him in my purse) and she turned red and pushed him aside and said, "maaaaaama" in a tone that I used to use with my mama - a tone that said - stop it, don't embarass me! Then she got the first ear done, and she clung to me for dear life. I really wanted to cry too, because suddenly she looked so much older! Here are the pics.....Can't believe she will be 10 in 2 months.
