First week of summer

Well, we didn't have anything planned for this week, but we ended up filling it up everyday! Monday, we went to the library, and then Collins went to Daniel's house for a while. Tuesday, we swam with friends all day and went home with some tired babies! Wednesday my dad dropped off our lockers for my laundry room. Very exciting day. I will have finished pics really soon. Lis also came and visited for the day Wednesday. Thursday, Collins had a fun boys play day, and it ended with a fun visit with Marsh and the best baseball game they had yet. Also, during the whole week, mary blake attended tcps cheer camp, so Friday we went to the school to see her cheer. Collins lucked up and got a day of play with his buddy Daniel again! Friday night, my big kids camped out! ALL NIGHT. BY THEMSELVES!! I was so impressed. It is funny how close to the house they wanted the tent. It was pretty much touching our backporch!! In the midst of all of that I (with the help of Emory) painted all 6 of the cubbies. Not an easy task, but I'm not complain'. Glad for everyone to have a spot for their stuff !I didn't get pics of everything, but here are a few.....
the tent. sooooooo far away from the house.

Mary Blake's first 5k

For the past ten weeks Mary Blake participated in Healthwork's" Lighten Up program. She learned all about exercise, eating right, and they helped her in "training" for her first 5k. They gave her a training schedule that we may or may not have stuck closely to....BUT she finished and had a fun time with her Daddy and her buddies. She came home with that "runner's (walker's) high" ready to plan her next race!

Last week of school...We survived!

I am one tired mama - we successfully had a full, exhausting, and most of all a really FUN week! Below are the shots from Blue and Gold Banquet, Skate Zone, a baseball game, 3 end of the year parties, 2 award's day, a pasta palooza supper at Healthworks, and a 2 year old program! YAY for summer!!

Loving the 4 wheeler

The Thompson girls showed up one day with two super cool 4 wheelers for my boys. Within minutes, Griffin was circling the yard. Wren has taken a little longer to catch on. He is almost big enough. He sure wants to be! They love them so much that I have hidden them so that they aren't begging to ride them every time we walk out the door...gotta avoid those meltdowns and 7:55 a.m. when you are late for school!!!

The Learning Fair 3-6 grades

For the learning fair Mary Blake chose to study The Natchez Indians. This girl worked hard, and did it all by herself! I only helped with the gluing of the pictures. Lots of hard work and information was represented in that gym that day!

Mary Blake asked Raychel to come and see her set-up

Griffin was especially interested in the display by Mary Blake because she handed out animal crackers!
