Splish Splash!

You know how sometimes kids ask to do things and you say , "No, not right now." Then one day you think, what would it really hurt? Well yesterday, Mary Blake asked if she could have a bubble bath - Sure, I said - why, not? Then she asked if she could turn the whirlpool jets on - well, I guessed it wouldn't hurt anything, would it? Much to their delight, the whirlpool caused the bubbles to raise to the top - just had to get a picture. Oh , to be young again - when bubble baths fixed everything!

Brashier Family Reunion

This weekend we had a fun filled day at Clarko State Park in Quitman , MS. All of the cousins made it except Andy. . . not trying to make you feel guilty or anything Andy! Mary Blake was so excited about meeting the newest addition - Baby Ellison! I asked Mary Blake what she thought of Ellison and she said, " She was SO cute and I got to hold her!" I asked Collins what he thought about Ellison and he said, " Um, I didn't fink about her." Such a boy!

What Mary Blake does when no one is looking. . .

I have a feeling that I was a lot like Mary Blake when I was little! It is not good for things to get too quiet where Mary Blake is concerned. This weekend, we traveled to Quitman , MS for the Brashier family reunion. On the way home, Mary Blake was getting upset over the sun being in her eyes. After a few failed attempts of me rigging up Brad's shirt in the window, I finally gave up and let her be. Later, I looked back to see that she had stripped down and put on Brad's t-shirt. . . somehow looking like a nun completely solved the problem! Hey, whatever works!

These are from Christmas . . . I know, I am a little behind, but I just got them from JJ and Pops camera a few weeks ago!

The weekend after Easter, Pops and JJ came to visit. Mary Blake and Collins went on their first official fishing trip! They both "caught" and fish and touched one (eww)! Please notice Brad's fish. . . it was one of the two fish he caught that day, so he was rather proud! Pop's caught about 15 or 20!

Easter Egg Hunt

These are pics from the great cookout and Easter Egg Hunt we went to in Batesville. I also rounded up another pic from Easter Sunday that actually had Collins in it too! I remember being able to pull out the photo albums at Mama and Daddy's house and could find pictures from every year at easter. Digital pictures are great, but I don't think I have printed out Easter pics from the last two years ! They are all on my camera!

Easter 2008

Somehow this was the only picture of the kids on Easter (doesn't Collins' arm look great in the background?) We had a great Easter with the Wren family and we also celebrated my b'day!
