Thanksgiving in Tupelo
I am really on top of blogging because I got a new computer. Yay me! I have entered the Mac world. Right now Brad's family is here and we have had a great time. I went ahead and pulled out the Christmas decorations while they here so Brad wouldn't complain about it!
Last year I decided I would try Saran wrapping the Christmas tree and store it in the shop. I must say, it worked great. After a little fluffing and adding the stuff to the top of the tree, it was done. It took me about twenty minutes.
Thanks to Mandy for the Santa apron! I have been wearing it three years now. . . I actually looked a little like Santa this year :)

It is going to be interesting this year with Griffin. So far, he has only pulled one ornament off. Now he walks up to the tree and touches the ornaments and says, "no, no". We will see how long this lasts.

Wren's room
I have been waiting to put the finishing touches on the room to take pics. When I was getting the blanket hung on the chair folded (just finished it minutes ago), I discovered a pin I left IN the blanket. . . . just when I thought I was DONE. I have to take the blanket apart and fish that pin out. The joys of being me. Anyway, hope you enjoy the pictures. It was such a joy to decorate this bambino's room. One of my favorite things to do...
All my kiddos have been safely delivered to my parents for two days. Perfect time to kick back, right?? Nope. Just 9 days before I am scheduled to meet Wren, I will attempt to clean out Mary Blake and Collins toys AND make a tent for Griff's Christmas present (consisting of about nine yards of fabric). I'll keep you posted!
For anyone that cares, I will tell you where my random findings in the room came from:
Old Coke bottle holder from Brad's mom
Pillows I made on red iron bed that was Brad's when he was little
Close-ups of the hospital door hanger. Wren is my maiden name and Thomas comes from daddy (Tommy). He was named after his father's brother, Thomas.
Another shot of the door hanger with fabulous ribbon from Mid-South Nursery!
Wren's monogram painted on an old kitchen cabinet door from our old house on Lynn Circle. The pictures are my fun preggo pictures taken by the talented Ceresa Caudill. www.ceresacaudill.com
Window pane was a birthday present 4 years ago from my sweet friend Nichole Hardin. I just repainted it to match the room.
The boys
Griffin got an early baby present/Christmas present (Thanks Mandy and Granma)! Collins has taken over the chair. Griffin does not care. . . he still backs himself into that chair Collins or not. It's pretty sweet. . . until Griffin starts blocking big bro's view of the television!

BABY SHOWER!
Tuesday night, Lawndale gave Gwen Cordell and I a baby shower. Much thanks to Misty Thompson for hosting such a fun night. I really enjoyed myself and got SO much fun stuff for Wren. Thanks to all the people who brought food, to my mama and Lis for making the drive, and to Candace for bringing Whitney as a special guest from Peru via skype!!!
Also, thanks to Gwen for being my pregnancy buddy. I have text her with all of my woes and discomforts :)
AR Character Parade
Each year Mooreville has an AR character parade. The kids pick out a character from a book they have read, and dress up like them. Then they get to parade through the carpool line for the other students and parents. It was really cold that day, so Mary Blake never took her coat off. Collins, on the other hand, had shorts and tshirt on and didn't care at all. Collins was a bat and MB was a vet.
Painting Wren's room
Wow, can't believe I have two nurseries - two baby beds. . . overwhelming, but exciting all at the same time. I am very thankful for Brad, Travis, and Doug painting the room all in one night. I will post the finished product soom. I just have a few more things to hang.
